I caught the blog post by Darren Rowse on TwiTip and was inspired to respond.  He asked people to post their top ten list for their particular niche on twitter.  My niche is a little strange.  I follow people mostly to increase my own knowledge of social media and all things web 2.0. However I follow many people for their knowledge in my field.  I work with in higher education in service-learning and I am trying to incorporate social media.

I came up with 8 tweeple/organizations.  While many of their posts aren't strictly about what I do, I use their information to help me with social media, service, or higher education. Hope it's of some use! Feel free to follow me @Kfred85 !
